I have finalized my plans for my volunteer trip to Haiti. I will be working on Project Leogane with Hands On Disaster Relief. I will be departing Philadelphia on Monday, March 8, 2010 and arriving in Port Au Prince on Tuesday, March 9th at 9:15am. I will then take a shuttle to base camp at the Project and I'll receive my assignment. There seems to be a wi-fi connection , so I'll certainly attempt to make updates every day with stories and pictures of my experiences.
Until then, I'll need to purchase gear and pack for my journey. I look forward to my experience.
